Job Description

We are currently seeking an Automotive / Light Duty Technician & Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and reliable professional with hands-on experience in automotive repair and tire service. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining passenger vehicles, light trucks, and performing tire service on both light-duty and heavy-duty (Class 8) trucks while upholding high safety and quality standards. This position also requires flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained to assist with heavy-duty trucks, including Peterbilt and other Class 8 vehicles, as needed. Saturday work is as needed based on business demands and is expected as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of passenger vehicles and light trucks
Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotations, and repairs on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and Class 8 trucks
Provide mobile tire service and fleet support as needed, including off-site and roadside service calls
Complete general maintenance and repairs including brakes, batteries, suspension components, oil changes, and bolt-on parts
Assist with basic diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems including AC and electrical
Support shop operations with heavy-duty truck work (Peterbilt/Class 8) as needed
Tag all warranty parts and returns, take photos
Document all work performed clearly and accurately
Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies
Take part in ongoing training and development programs

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and/or tire service (heavy-duty tire experience preferred)
Willingness to learn and be cross-trained on heavy-duty trucks (Peterbilt/Class 8)
Ability to perform mobile/roadside tire service as needed
Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (e.g., shop, outdoors, or roadside setting)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
