B or C Level Automotive Technician – $26 - $32/hr – No Weekends

Location: Christiansburg, VA / Radford, VA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Range: $26–$32/hr Flat Rate (Based on Experience & Skill Level)
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Work Environment: Family-Owned Independent Repair Shop

2+ years of automotive technician experience for C Level candidates

5+ years of experience preferred for B Level candidates

Promotive is hiring a motivated B or C Level Automotive Technician for a growing, family-owned repair shop in the Christiansburg and Radford, VA area. Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on domestic, Asian, and light European vehicles
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, and drivability repairs
• Perform vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics
• Conduct VA State Inspections accurately and efficiently
• Use digital vehicle inspections (DVI) through Tekmetric
• Maintain productivity goals while delivering high-quality workmanship
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure excellent customer service
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience for C Level candidates
• 5+ years of experience preferred for B Level candidates
• VA State Inspection License required
• Strong work ethic and production-focused mindset
• Ability to perform repairs independently
• Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Experience with domestic and Asian vehicles preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

• Flat rate pay structure
• B Level Technicians: $28–$32/hr (depending on experience / skills)
• C Level Technicians: Around $26/hr+ (depending on experience / skills)
