Automotive Technician (A or B Level) - $27-$48/hr Flat Rate (with weekly guarantees) - $100K+ Earning Potential

Location: Fenton, MI

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $27-$48/hr flat rate, based on experience

Pay Type: Flat rate + $600 weekly guarantee

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Earning Potential: $100,000+ annually

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (A or B Level) for a high-performing, modern repair shop in Fenton, MI. This full-time opportunity offers $27-$48/hr flat rate based on experience, a $600 weekly guarantee, and $100K+ annual earning potential for productive technicians. You'll work with a strong team, modern diagnostic equipment, and consistent workflow across domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
• Diagnose complex drivability issues, check engine lights, and engine performance concerns
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, electrical, and engine repairs
• Use Autel, Snap-on, and Launch diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle issues
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
• Communicate diagnostic findings clearly with service advisors to support accurate estimates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Consistently produce flagged hours while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience servicing domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
• ASE certifications strongly preferred
• State repair certifications highly preferred
• Comfortable using scan tools, diagnostic software, and shop management systems
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
