Automotive Technician A Level or B+ - $19-$50+/hr - No Weekends

Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $19-$50+/hr based on experience and skills
Pay Type: Hybrid (Hourly + Flat-Rate Bonus), depending on role and experience
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Earning Potential: $50,000-$110,000+ annually, depending on experience, skills, pay structure, overtime, and productivity

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician or highly skilled B-Level Automotive Technician in Mount Pleasant, SC. This opportunity offers $19-$50+/hr depending on experience and skills, a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, weekly pay, and strong benefits.
The shop is expanding from 6 to 12 bays and offers modern diagnostic equipment, OE programming capabilities, consistent workflow, and opportunities to continue developing advanced diagnostic skills. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Domestic and Asian vehicles, with some European vehicle work
• Perform mechanical repairs involving brakes, steering, suspension, and general automotive systems
• Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns using modern automotive diagnostic equipment
• Use Autel, Zeus, IDS, FDRS, ATS Scope, and other available testing equipment
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and accurately document vehicle findings
• Maintain quality workmanship and efficient shop productivity
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians to support workflow
• Provide technical support and mentorship to developing technicians when appropriate to experience level

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional automotive technician experience
• Ability to perform most mechanical repairs independently
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic processes
• Experience with brake, steering, suspension, and general automotive repair
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills appropriate for an advanced B-Level or A-Level Technician
• ASE Certifications preferred; certification support is available
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the service team

Compensation & Benefits

• $19-$50+/hr based on experience, diagnostic ability, and role level
• Hourly compensation with a hybrid hourly plus flat-rate bonus option available for qualifying senior-level candidates
• Earning potential of $50,000-$110,000+ annually depending on experience, skills, pay structure, overtime, and productivity; actual earnings are not guaranteed
• Consistent overtime available, averaging approximately 5 hours per week
