Automotive Technician A or B Level - Up to $45+/hr + Bonuses

Location: Parchment / Kalamazoo, MI

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Shop Hours: 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

Pay Rate: A Level: $30-$45+/hr | B Level: $22-$35/hr - depending on experience

Pay Type: Hourly + Weekly Production Bonus

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Typical Flagged Hours: 30-40 per week

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced A Level or B Level Automotive Technician in Parchment / Kalamazoo, MI! This busy independent repair shop services domestic, Asian, and European vehicles and offers consistent work, modern diagnostic equipment, weekly production bonuses, and weekends off.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Use professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections using Shop-Ware.
• Communicate repair findings clearly to Service Advisors.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to maintain shop productivity.

Qualifications

• A Level: Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• A Level: Strong diagnostic and advanced repair capabilities.
• A Level: ASE certifications preferred; willingness to pursue ASE Master A1-A8 certification.
• B Level: Hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic experience appropriate to the role.
• Michigan State Mechanic Certifications or applicable ASE certifications, as required.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Compensation & Benefits

A Level Technician: $30-$45/hour (depending on experience / skills), with higher rates possible for exceptional candidates.

B-Level Technician: $22-$35/hour (depending on experience / skills)
