A Level or B+ Level Automotive Technician – Toyota & Nissan Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00 Per Hour Flat Rate (Depending on Experience)

5+ Years of Professional Shop Experience Required

Promotive is hiring experienced A Level or B+ Level Automotive Technicians for a busy and highly respected independent repair shop in Orlando, FL. This opportunity is ideal for technicians who specialize in Toyota and Nissan vehicles and enjoy diagnostics, problem-solving, and high-quality repair work.

This independent automotive repair organization has proudly served the Orlando community since 2002 and has built a reputation for honesty, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service. The shop specializes primarily in Asian vehicles including Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infinity, Kia, and Hyundai.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Asian Makes such as Toyota, Nissan, Lexus, Infiniti, Honda, Acura, Kia, and Hyundai vehicles
• Perform advanced diagnostics, drivability repairs, electrical troubleshooting, brake repairs, suspension work, and engine performance repairs
• Complete repairs from diagnosis through final quality control
• Perform accurate Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using Tekmetric software
• Build estimates and provide detailed parts lists when needed
• Utilize diagnostic platforms including AllData, Identifix, ProDemand, and DrivePro
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development

Qualifications

A Level Technician

• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting experience required
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair most assigned vehicles
• 5+ years of professional automotive shop experience required
• Strong Toyota and Nissan experience preferred
• Kia and Hyundai experience is a plus

B+ Level Technician

• Ability to diagnose and repair at least 75% of assigned vehicles
• 5+ years of professional automotive shop experience required
• Strong mechanical repair skills with growing diagnostic ability
• Toyota and Nissan experience preferred
• Kia and Hyundai experience is a plus

General Requirements

• ASE Certifications preferred but not required
• Experience with DVIs and shop management software is a plus
• Must have professional automotive tools
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• A-Level Technician Pay: $35 – $45/hr flat rate DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
• B-Level Technician Pay: $30 – $35/hr flat rate DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
