Location: Applegate, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Optional 4x10 workweek available)
Pay Rate: $38–$42/hour DOE
Pay Type: Hourly (No Flat Rate)

Introduction

We are seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician to join a well-established automotive repair shop in Applegate, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diagnostic technician looking for consistent work, an hourly pay plan, and a supportive team environment. With a shop booked 2–4 weeks in advance, you'll have a steady workflow while working alongside a team that values quality repairs, collaboration, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and complex mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of Asian and Domestic vehicles.
• Complete quality control inspections to help ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
• Assist with shop workflow and dispatching as needed.
• Perform light-duty diesel repairs or participate in hands-on diesel training.
• Document repair findings and communicate effectively with the service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an A-Level Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic skills.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems.
• Experience working on Asian and Domestic vehicles.
• Consistently maintains approximately 75% or greater productivity.
• Team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $38–$42 per hour, depending on experience.

• Optional four-day, 10-hour workweek.
