Automotive Technician (A Level or B Level) $20-$40/hr

Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20-$40/hour (Depending on Experience)
Pay Type: Hourly
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Earning Potential: Up to $85,000+ annually
Typical Flagged Hours: Approximately 40 billed hours per week

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced A Level or B Level Automotive Technician to join a family-owned automotive repair shop in Cartersville, Georgia. This opportunity offers $20-$40 per hour, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and annual earning potential of up to $85,000+ Whether your strengths are advanced diagnostics or high-quality mechanical repairs, you'll be part of a team that values quality workmanship, teamwork, and taking care of its employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive repair and maintenance on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns based on experience level.
• Complete engine replacements, transmission removal and installation, and other major mechanical repairs.
• Perform transmission diagnostics and repairs as appropriate for experience.
• Complete module programming and advanced diagnostics (A Level Technician).
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, repair information, and shop management software to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive shop repair experience.
• Experience performing automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs appropriate to skill level.
• Ability to perform engine and transmission repairs.
• ASE Certifications are preferred.
• Dealer or independent repair shop experience is welcomed.
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work the scheduled shop hours.
