Automotive Technical Trainer

🎯 About the role

As a Technical Trainer, you are responsible for designing and delivering high-quality technical training for dealer networks and internal teams.

Your training supports correct vehicle maintenance, diagnosis and repair in line with manufacturer standards, safety requirements and quality expectations.

You work in a rapidly evolving automotive environment shaped by electrification, digitalisation and emerging technologies, and you continuously update both content and teaching methods accordingly.

🛠️ Key responsibilities

📌 Training delivery

• Deliver technical training sessions in classroom, workshop, digital or blended-learning formats.
• Ensure effective transfer of knowledge to technicians and dealer staff.
• Adjust the training approach to the level and needs of different target groups.

📌 Content development

• Convert manufacturer documentation into clear, practical and impactful training modules.
• Help develop and continuously improve training programmes.
• Integrate new technologies such as EV systems, digital tools and diagnostic platforms into the training offer.

📌 Technical expertise

• Keep your automotive technical knowledge up to date, including diagnostics, repair methods, connectivity and electrification.
• Maintain expertise aligned with OEM standards and technical procedures.
• Support workshop teams in applying best practices and understanding technical processes.

📌 Operational support

• Prepare training environments, including vehicles, tools and components.
• Organise and manage training materials and equipment when needed.
• Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders such as training coordinators and technical specialists.

📌 Quality & compliance

• Ensure training activities meet manufacturer requirements and certification standards.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, including audit and ISO-related contexts.
• Help maintain a high level of participant satisfaction and operational quality.

📝 Your profile

📌 Technical background

• You have solid knowledge of automotive technology.
• You bring experience in diagnostics, repair or technical support within a dealer or OEM-related environment.
• Previous experience as a trainer is a strong asset.

🧠 Training & communication skills

• You have strong pedagogical skills and can explain complex technical topics in a clear and structured way.
• You are comfortable presenting, facilitating and guiding training sessions.
• You adapt your communication style to different audiences and learning levels.
• You combine communication strength with good organisational skills and a professional attitude.

🌍 Languages

• Dutch and French are required.
• English is an asset, especially for technical documentation and manufacturer content.
