Are you an experienced automotive technician who loves finding the root cause of a fault? Would you like to use that expertise from a desk instead of the workshop floor?

Join MSX International's new Technical Support team in Budapest. You will help workshop technicians in the German-speaking dealer network of a leading global car manufacturer diagnose and fix vehicles right the first time. Your hands-on diagnostic experience is what counts.

Job Description

What you will do

• Handle technical cases from German-speaking dealer workshops through a ticketing system
• Analyse fault codes, symptoms, live data and repair information to find the root cause
• Guide technicians to the right repair, in clear written German
• Document every case accurately and escalate complex cases to our Level 2 team with all the information they need
• Spot recurring issues and share them with the engineering team
• Build your expertise on electric and high-voltage vehicles through manufacturer training

Qualifications

What you bring

• Hands-on experience in a dealer or independent workshop, with a focus on diagnostics
• A technical qualification (e.g. Kfz-Mechatroniker, Kfz-Techniker, Kfz-Meister, automotive technician) or an engineering degree
• Confident use of diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams and repair information systems
• Fluent German and good professional English
• An analytical, independent way of working, and the patience to handle a high volume of cases
• The right to work in the EU

Nice to have

• High-voltage / EV qualification (e.g. DGUV 209-093 level 2S/3S or equivalent)
• Experience with a technical hotline, warranty or ticketing tools

What we offer

• HUF 800,000–850,000 gross per month
• Hybrid work from Budapest, with flexible home office (living elsewhere in Hungary? Talk to us!)
• Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, no weekends
• Full manufacturer technical training, including EV/HV
• A clear career path: Level 1 → Level 2 → Senior Specialist → Team Lead
