Automotive Structural Design Engineer

Activities:

• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models of structural components using CATIA V5;
• Develop multi‑material BiW components, ensuring targets for performance, weight, cost, and feasibility are met;
• Support DMU, packaging checks, and resolution of CAD-related issues;
• Provide input for engineering changes, BOM updates, prototype rework, and technical documentation;
• Collaborate with testing teams to manage component data, evaluate results, and propose improvements;
• Ensure timely delivery of design outputs and maintain accurate reporting.

Requirements:

• Experience in BiW or structural component design within the automotive sector;
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 and understanding of manufacturing processes (stamping, joining, composites);
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and propose feasible engineering solutions;
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project‑tracking skills;
• Good command of English.
