Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume automotive repair shop.
• Manage workflow to maximize technician productivity and shop efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, and support a team of 5-6 technicians.
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Prepare repair estimates and coordinate parts ordering.
• Present repair recommendations and help customers make informed decisions.
• Monitor sales, gross profit, and overall shop performance.
• Control operating costs while maintaining exceptional service.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
• Build lasting relationships with customers through outstanding communication and service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing an automotive repair shop.
• Strong automotive repair knowledge.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Experience writing estimates and selling automotive repair services.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable using shop management software and technology.
• Business-minded with a focus on operational excellence and profitability.
