Automotive Shop Manager Opportunity | Growth, Bonuses & Work-Life Balance

Monday–Friday Schedule
$75,000 – $100,000+ (Base + Profit Sharing & Bonuses)

A well-established and highly respected automotive repair shop in Lawrence, KS is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Manager to lead operations and drive performance. This is a great opportunity for a results-driven leader who is passionate about customer service, team development, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Drive team performance, productivity, and morale
• Oversee workflow, scheduling, and repair timelines
• Manage inventory and control costs
• Ensure excellent customer experience and communication
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve results
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of automotive management experience
• 3+ years as a Service Advisor
• Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes
• Proven leadership and people-management skills
• Experience with business operations and performance metrics
• Familiarity with Tekmetric and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) preferred
• Proficiency with shop management software and tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Understanding of workflow, flat-rate pay systems, and shop efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
