SHOP FOREMAN / LEAD TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee daily shop operations and technician workflow
- Assist with diagnostics and complex automotive repairs
- Support and mentor automotive technicians
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and quality standards
- Coordinate job assignments and maximize shop efficiency
- Work closely with service advisors and management

SHOP FOREMAN QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience as an automotive technician, lead technician, or shop foreman
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
- Ability to manage workflow and prioritize repairs
- Personal tools required
- Valid driver’s license preferred

SHOP FOREMAN SKILLS

Strong skills in automotive diagnostics, repair, and shop management, including engine repair, drivability diagnostics, suspension, brake systems, electrical systems, and advanced troubleshooting. Experience leading technician teams, managing shop workflow, and ensuring productivity and efficiency.

Knowledge of dealership operations, repair order flow, quality control, and technician performance management. Ability to balance hands-on repair work with leadership responsibilities in a high-volume service environment.
