The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time position of Automotive Service Technology Associate Instructor located at the Crump Campus.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of Technical Diploma in the instructional area or equivalent higher education training with credentials in a related field; A comparable combination of education and related experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time work experience in the automotive mechanics field within the last five (5) years.
• Must possess all required ASE certifications and/or accreditations for the field or the ability to become certified within twelve (12) calendar months.
• Strong hands-on technical background in all areas of the automotive mechanic field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
• Evidence of good character, mature attitude, and stable personality
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
SALARY:
$51,149-$61,379
Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
