Salary Range: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 Salary/yearThe Service Assistant, Service BDC, at DELLA Auto Group in Queensbury, New York is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting technicians in the repair and maintenance of vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, ideal for individuals with technical skills and a passion for automobiles.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Service Assistant will receive a competitive hourly rate of $17 to $19 per hour, paid weekly plus monthly commission. This individual will also be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, PTO, and a 401k plan.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist customers via phone/internet in a professional and courteous manner
2. Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
3. Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and other team members.
4 Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the dealership.
5 Assist with inventory management and of parts and supplies.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QualificationsRequirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in the auto industry preferred.
3. Technical skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
6. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
8. Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
