Automotive Service Advisor – Up to $60K+ Earning Potential - 2154

Ames, IA
Monday–Friday Schedule
Base Salary: $40K–$60K+ Including Commission
Locally & Family-Owned Automotive Repair Shop

We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team in Ames, IA. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with customers, and takes pride in keeping shop operations running smoothly.

As the main point of contact between customers and technicians, you’ll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping drive the success of the shop.

What You’ll Do

• Write accurate and detailed repair estimates
• Order parts needed for the repair
• Communicate clearly with customers and technicians
• Coordinate repair orders and manage daily workflow
• Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment
• Ensure repairs and service recommendations meet high-quality standards
• Manage multiple priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the repair process

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive role
• Tekmetric experience is a plus
• Strong communication and people skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service
• Valid Driver’s License required
