More ways to build a career that moves you forward. The Service Advisor at Group 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Denton serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate vehicle diagnostics communication, and coordinating timely and efficient repairs. The Service Advisor plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, retention, and driving service department revenue within a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing strong rapport and trust
  • Consult with customers to understand vehicle concerns and document service needs accurately
  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspection results and manufacturer guidelines
  • Provide clear explanations of recommended services, timelines, and cost estimates
  • Prepare and manage repair orders in dealership systems
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Monitor repair progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
  • Ensure all work is completed to customer satisfaction before vehicle delivery
  • Upsell additional products and services when appropriate
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and urgency
  • Maintain knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram service standards and warranty processes
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and manufacturer procedures

Qualifications

  • Automotive Service Advisor Experience
  • CDK Experience Preferred
  • Ability to Multitask a Must
