BMW of Arlington is seeking a customer-focused and highly organized Service Advisor to serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department. The Service Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional ownership experience by understanding customer concerns, recommending maintenance and repair services, coordinating vehicle service, and ensuring timely follow-up throughout the repair process.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering premium customer service consistent with the BMW brand

Responsibilities

  • Greet service customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service needs.
  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle condition, manufacturer guidelines, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare accurate repair orders and obtain customer authorization for recommended services.
  • Communicate repair timelines, costs, and service updates throughout the repair process.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
  • Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.
  • Ensure all warranty, maintenance, and repair documentation is completed accurately.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers through phone, email, and text updates.
  • Monitor vehicle status and proactively address delays or customer concerns.
  • Achieve service sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Build lasting customer relationships that encourage retention and repeat business.
  • Stay current on BMW products, maintenance schedules, service campaigns, and dealership

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience using dealership management systems or CRM platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • Previous Service Advisor experience in automotive dealerships.
  • Experience with luxury automotive brands.
  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance, repairs, and warranty processes.
  • Familiarity with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or other dealership software systems.
  • BMW experience or certification is a plus.
