Pay Rate: $55,000–$100,000+ annually

Pay Schedule: Twice monthly on the 5th and 20th

You'll work alongside experienced technicians, a dedicated parts manager, and another service advisor in a modern, remodeled facility with a steady flow of automotive, diesel, and fleet work.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, building trust and establishing positive relationships from the first interaction.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns, document vehicle issues accurately, and prepare detailed service estimates for oil changes, brakes, transmissions, alignments, suspension, tires, diesel engines, shocks and struts, engine repairs, and general automotive repairs.
• Recommend additional maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspections, diagnostic findings, and customer needs while maintaining honesty and transparency.
• Coordinate with automotive and diesel service technicians to prioritize repairs, manage workflow, and support timely completion of service work.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, clearly explaining diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, pricing, and service timelines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate repair orders, service write-ups, estimates, customer records, and payment documentation while handling cash transactions responsibly.
• Apply automotive mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to help customers make informed decisions about vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Stay informed about automotive repair procedures, parts availability, and service recommendations while identifying appropriate additional service and sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an automotive dealership, independent repair shop, or automotive service management environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, vehicle maintenance procedures, and general repair processes.
• Familiarity with automotive estimating software, service writing, repair orders, and shop administrative procedures.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build customer relationships and address concerns professionally.
• Ability to recommend additional maintenance and repair services confidently while prioritizing customer needs, integrity, and transparent communication.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and services, including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension, tire service, light-duty diesel engines, shocks and struts, brake repairs, air brake systems, and general automotive repairs.
• Strong organizational, sales, and cash-handling skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer requests, prepare accurate documentation, and support efficient shop operations.
