Automotive Service Advisor – $50K–$65K Base + Bonus | No Weekends

Location: Depew, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 Base + Monthly GP Bonus
On Target Earnings Annually: $89,000+
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a well-established, family-owned repair shop in Depew, NY This is a full-time, customer-facing role offering a strong base salary plus performance bonuses, consistent weekday hours, and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a high-level customer service experience from check-in to delivery
• Write accurate estimates for maintenance and repair services
• Communicate vehicle needs clearly and effectively to customers
• Sell recommended services and maintenance based on technician findings
• Coordinate workflow between technicians and customers to ensure timely completion
• Source parts and manage repair orders efficiently
• Utilize shop management software (Tekmetric) and digital vehicle inspections (DVI)
• Maintain detailed records of services, parts, and customer interactions

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer
• Experience in either dealership or independent shop environments
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Solid understanding of automotive repair and maintenance services
• Comfortable using shop management software (Tekmetric experience is a plus)
• Positive attitude, self-starter mindset, and team-oriented approach

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $50,000 – $65,000 (depending on experience)
