Gladstone Mitsubishi is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is a key leadership position responsible for coaching sales consultants, driving performance, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the growth of our dealership.

Schedule 5 days on, 2 days off – Weekends required
Compensation Base Salary + Commission
Qualifications
  • 5 years previous experience as a manager in a dealership setting required.
  • Requires previous experience with VinSolutions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Preferred knowledge of driving manual vehicles.
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred.
  • Ready to waste no time on learning new product ins and outs, eager to improve.
  • Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.

What You Will Do:

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
  • Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.
  • Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.
  • Monitors salesperson productivity and performance.
  • Orders/acquires new- and used-vehicle inventory.
  • Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.
  • Displays, merchandises, and promotes new- and used-vehicles.
  • Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.
  • Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Schedules and plans New Owner Clinics as a follow-up to the delivery process.
