About the role:

Reporting to the Catalogue and Product Manager, as the Product & Catalogue Specialist Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and reliable product catalogue information.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on automotive parts research, data entry, Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) management and industry cross-referencing. You will help ensure our product data is clean, comprehensive and aligned to market demand, while supporting sales, purchasing and wider product initiatives.

Based at our Brendale Head Office, this full-time role is ideal for someone with

strong automotive product knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and confidence working with high-volume product data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion APG Values - Customer First, Smart Service, One Team and Safe for All.
• Research, create and maintain accurate product and catalogue listings.
• Perform data entry and manage parent/child listings, cross-references and supersessions.
• Review, audit and maintain catalogue data to support accurate internal and external product information.
• Research manufacturer and industry information to identify range gaps and new product opportunities.
• Support sales and purchasing teams with parts interpretation, product enquiries and catalogue information.
• Assist with product training and ensure product information is communicated consistently across the business.
• Identify opportunities to improve catalogue processes, data quality and reporting.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in automotive cataloguing, product data, parts interpretation, or a similar role.
• Strong data-entry skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPCs), catalogue systems or similar databases.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to research, interpret and cross-reference automotive parts information.
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
