We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll taxes, and payroll reporting, with at least 2 years of payroll experience. Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred, and experience with Reynolds and Reynolds payroll software is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls accurately and timely.
• Review and verify employee timekeeping, hours, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related information.
• Calculate and process payroll taxes, withholdings, deductions, and adjustments.
• Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax filings and reports.
• Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2s and other required tax forms.
• Reconcile payroll reports and payroll-related accounts.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
• Respond to employee questions regarding paychecks, deductions, taxes, and payroll issues.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Stay current with changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits and provide payroll documentation as needed.
• Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience required.
• Experience processing semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll tax reporting.
• Experience preparing quarterly payroll tax filings.
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds payroll software strongly preferred.
• Automotive dealership or automotive industry payroll experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
