Our client with multiple facilities in the Maritimes is looking for an experienced

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

To join their OPERATIONS in Fredericton NB.

What Youll Do:

• Diagnose and repair vehicles with precision and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance
• Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose defects and malfunctions and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of a transport truck and truck-trailer systems
• Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, steering components, and other engine parts, and perform repairs as required
• Perform scheduled maintenance services
• Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications
• Help prevent breakdowns by checking, cleaning, and oiling machine parts regularly
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures

What You Bring:

• Licensed Red Seal Technician (or nearing completion)
• Sharp diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Valid drivers license with a clean record
