Job Location Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077 Position Type Full Time Salary Range $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly

As a Lot Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all inventory lot operations to ensure vehicles are properly received, inspected, prepared, tracked, and displayed for sale. This role plays a critical part in inventory accuracy, vehicle readiness, dealership appearance, and operational efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Oversee day-to-day inventory lot management, ensuring all vehicles are properly parked, labeled, and organized according to dealership standards.
  • Assist with dealer trades, including arranging transportation, vehicle condition verification, and timely completion.
  • Work closely with the Service, Sales, Detail, and Parts departments to ensure vehicles are cleaned, serviced, and sale-ready in a timely manner.
  • Maintain lot appearance, ensuring vehicles are displayed cleanly, consistently, and in a customer-friendly layout.
  • Conduct regular lot walks to identify issues related to vehicle condition, cleanliness, damage, or organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, safety procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and report vehicle damage, recon discrepancies, or delays to management promptly.
  • Assist with snow removal, lot safety, and seasonal lot organization as needed.
  • Attend management or operational meetings as required.



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in dealership inventory, lot management, or vehicle operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles safely.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Working knowledge of dealership inventory systems preferred.

Adhere to all dealership policies, procedures, and training requirements.
