A Level Diesel Technician – $25–$50/hr – No Weekends

Location: Cumberland, RI
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay Range: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Experience Required: 6+ Years (Light, Medium & Heavy-Duty Diesel)

Promotive is hiring experienced A-Level Diesel Technicians for a well-established auto and truck repair shop in Cumberland, RI specializing in light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty diesel vehicles. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity offering strong hourly pay, weekly pay periods, and excellent benefits — with annual earning potential exceeding $100,000+.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems from F-250s to semi-trucks
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Cummins, Duramax, Detroit, Caterpillar, Powerstroke, and other major diesel platforms
• Complete brake, suspension, drivetrain, and general truck repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance services and trailer repairs
• Handle aftertreatment and emissions system diagnostics and repairs
• Maintain efficiency while delivering high-quality workmanship
• Collaborate with foremen and technicians to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience as a Diesel Technician
• Strong experience with light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty diesel vehicles
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Cummins, Duramax, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, and Powerstroke platforms
• Ability to work independently without constant oversight
• Must bring your own tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
