Expected Earnings: $80,000 – $120,000 per year

Immediate Opening – Experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Bryans Road Crown is actively hiring an experienced A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing independent repair shop in Bryans Road, MD.

Our shop is conveniently located for technicians commuting from Waldorf, La Plata, Indian Head, and surrounding Southern Maryland communities

We are looking for a technician who can take ownership of advanced diagnostics and complex repairs while helping maintain the high standards our customers trust. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving problems, working on a variety of vehicles, and being part of a team that values skill and professionalism.

Technician Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues, emissions problems, and drivability concerns
• Perform major repairs including timing chains and other complex engine work
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and clearly communicate findings
• Maintain strong productivity with a goal of 30–50 hours turned per week
• Work with a team committed to delivering high-quality repairs and honest service

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to perform complex repairs independently
• Maryland State Inspector License preferred
• Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience preferred
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Technicians with independent shop experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Dealer technicians with strong diagnostic experience beyond repetitive dealership work are also welcome.
