We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Automotive Detailer to join our collision repair team. The Detailer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning, washing, and preparing vehicles following collision repairs, ensuring every vehicle is returned to the customer clean, presentable, and meeting our quality standards.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands the importance of delivering a finished vehicle that looks its best.

CSN Listowel is proud to be part of the Auto Reset Group, which includes collision centres in Walkerton, Listowel, and Owen Sound, as well as an Appraisal Centre in Port Elgin. Key Responsibilities

Pre- and Post-Scans: Hook up diagnostic scanning tools to conduct initial pre-repair scans and final post-repair diagnostic scans on vehicles to log electronic fault codes (DTCs).

Exterior Cleaning: Wash vehicle exteriors, rinse off shop dust and debris, clean wheels/tires, and wipe down windows.

• Operate detailing equipment, pressure washers, vacuums, polishers, and other tools safely.

Interior Cleaning: Vacuum carpets and seats, wipe down the dashboard and door panels, and clean interior glass.

Pre-Delivery Prep: Ensure vehicles are free of obvious dirt and shop dust before returning them to customers.

Workspace Maintenance: Keep the wash bay, scanning equipment, cleaning supplies, and work areas organized, clean, and stocked.

Workplace Safety: Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations for cleaning products and equipment.

Communicate: Any vehicle concerns or damage noticed during the detailing process to management or the production team.

Assist the shop team with general vehicle movement and other duties as required.

Compensation

Expected Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications and falls within the expected range for this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is an asset.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and working around vehicles for extended periods.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is an asset.
• Experience in a collision repair or automotive environment is an asset.
• Willingness to learn and follow established shop procedures.
