Automotive Certification Manager-South KoreaSeoulFull-timeCorporate function / Support - LegalResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities
1. Take full responsibility for XPeng Motors' product certification work in the Korean market, including but not limited to managing the entire certification process, ensuring compliance with all relevant Korean automotive certification regulations and standards. Proactively respond to supervision and inspections from the Korean government , maintain good communication with relevant government authorities, and resolve certification-related regulatory issues in a timely manner.
2. Lead the certification work for new XPeng vehicle models entering the Korean market, formulate detailed certification plans, coordinate internal and external resources (including third-party testing institutions, local partners), track the progress of certification projects, identify potential risks in advance, and ensure that new models obtain necessary certifications on schedule to support market launch.
3. Assist the headquarters product team in inputting product definitions and functional requirements for the Korean market. provide professional suggestions on product design, functional configuration and compliance, to ensure that products meet both Korean certification standards and local market needs.QualificationsJob Requirements
1. Have more than 8 years of relevant work experience in automotive product certification, market access or regulatory compliance in the Korean market, with a deep understanding of Korean culture, market environment and government regulatory system.
2. Possess a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Korean automotive market access processes, certification requirements, regulations and standards, and have internal resources in relevant government departments to facilitate certification work. Work experience in official Korean certification system institutions is preferred
3. Fluent in English (both written and spoken), capable of smoothly communicating with the headquarters team and international partners.Proficiency in Chinese is preferred
4. Strong project management ability, with the capability to independently manage multiple certification projects simultaneously, ensure on-time delivery and compliance. Possess excellent problem-solving skills, proactive thinking, and the ability to effectively respond to regulatory changes and unexpected issues.
5. Have a good sense of responsibility, professionalism and team spirit, able to work closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, sales) to promote certification work and support the development of XPeng's Korean market. Apply
