EchoPark Automotive is looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented Buyer/Pricing Analyst to work hand-in-hand with our centralized Purchasing and Pricing team. In this role, you will execute EchoPark’s core pricing strategy by leveraging a deep understanding of local automotive markets and a comprehensive knowledge of various vehicle makes, models, and model years. You will be responsible for compiling complex data from multiple sources to make independent, high-level inventory pricing decisions that directly impact business velocity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Pricing Strategy: Execute EchoPark’s pricing strategy across multiple regional markets; continuously monitor, identify, and provide feedback on market trends with clear, real-world examples.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Compile and analyze automotive data from multiple disparate sources to make independent, well-researched pricing decisions.
  • Vehicle Evaluation & Accuracy: Maintain extreme attention to detail when reviewing vehicle options, trim levels, history reports, and market data to ensure 100% accuracy in valuation.
  • Collaborative Execution: Partner closely with the broader pricing team to align on regional inventory strategies while maintaining the autonomy to manage your workflow.

Qualifications & Requirements

Core Requirements:

  • Automotive Expertise: Deep knowledge of diverse vehicle makes, models, and configurations across multiple model years.
  • Market Savvy: A strong understanding of localized automotive market dynamics and regional supply/demand factors.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Proven ability to identify shifting trends within large datasets and translate those findings into actionable pricing strategies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly comfortable utilizing Excel and other data tools to manage, filter, and interpret high-volume data.
  • Work Style: A self-starter who thrives when working independently and possesses the confidence to make high-level decisions backed by research.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a hybrid schedule that includes mandatory Saturday shifts.

Preferred Qualifications (A Plus, But Not Required):

  • Hands-on experience with automotive valuation and sourcing platforms, specifically Accu-Trade and Stockwave.
