Job
description:

• 
  Posts sales
  transactions to accounting records such as worksheets, ledgers and computer
  files.
• 
  Reconciles
  office records
• 
  Prepares
  invoices, listing items sold and service provided, amounts due and credit
  terms.
• 
  Cross-trains
  others for this position as directed by management.
• 
  Fills in for
  other administrative positions as needed and directed by management.
• 
  Answers
  accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.
• 
  Updates
  customers' account information.
• 
  Maintains a
  monthly holdback list for the office manager.
• 
  Inputs new
  vehicles into the computer system as directed by the office manager.
• 
  Checks all
  vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
• 
  Prepares
  accounts payable checks.
• 
  Posts all
  open items in accounts payable on a daily basis..
• 
  Reconciles
  statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with
  dealership schedules.
• 
  Reconciles
  cash schedule.
• 
  Maintains
  petty cash system.
• 
  Communicates
  cash requirements for day
• 
  Analyzes
  vendor accounts.
• 
  Answers all
  vendor inquiries.
• 
  Reconciles
  bank balances on a daily basis.
• 
  Assists in
  monthly closings.
• 
  Prepares
  analysis of accounts, as required.
• 
  Prepare
  accounts receivable and payments.
• 
  Maintains a
  professional appearance and a neat work area.
• 
  Other duties
  as assigned.
