Automotive Accounting Admin

$20.00 - $25.00 per Hour + Weekly Pay + Comprehensive Benefits

(Wage is comprised of base salary and % of department profit to be determined as part of pay plan). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, ect.)

Herb Chambers Lexus of Sharon, part of Asbury Automotive Group, is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Admin to join our team. This role provides essential support to the dealership’s accounting and administrative operations, with a primary focus on deal booking, title processing, filing, and general office support.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with detailed paperwork and deadlines, and able to work independently while also supporting the broader dealership team.

Responsibilities

** Attention to detail required **

  • Process and book vehicle deals accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with title and registration processing and maintain accurate title records
  • Review deal paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation
  • File and maintain accounting and deal-related records in accordance with dealership procedures
  • Assist with daily accounting office functions and administrative tasks
  • Research and resolve paperwork or documentation discrepancies
  • Assist with audits, reconciliations, and other administrative projects as assigned
  • Maintain organized and accurate physical and electronic records
  • Provide general office support to the accounting and dealership teams
  • Communicate professionally with internal departments, lenders and other outside parties as needed
  • Handle confidential financial and customer information with discretion
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to help keep the dealership office running smoothly

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive dealership, accounting, title, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable handling paperwork, deadlines, and multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and dealership processes is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to learn dealership accounting and title systems quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality
