Colorado
Kodak Alaris Colorado is the home of Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing and the Windsor Regional Distribution Center. The operations are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of thermal media for photographic applications.

Kodak Moments Colorado is seeking a motivated college student intern currently enrolled in an electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering undergraduate program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop and enhance automation and robotic processes. This position is on-site at our manufacturing facility in Windsor, CO, and you will work closely with senior engineers and technicians. Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing robotic operations in our manufacturing processes.
• Assisting with the electrical and mechanical design and support of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
• Supporting process quality monitoring projects across various equipment.
• Improving existing processes and equipment (i.e. improving quality output, increasing throughput, etc.).
• Reviewing and updating outdated technical documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with current standards and practices.

The ideal candidate is someone who collaborates well with others and brings innovative ideas to modernize older technology. Through this role, the intern will gain insights into how their contributions influence business decisions and impact the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
• Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering (or a related field) and completed first year of study by internship start date.
• 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Skills:
• Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to use electrical test equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using various tools.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Experience with Solidworks or other CAD software.
• Experience with Solidworks Electrical or similar software for wiring documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to present work and accept constructive feedback during design reviews.
• Ability to conduct research through online resources and written documentation.
• Ability to quickly adapt and work effectively in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to peers and management.
• Initiative in project management

Beneficial Additional Skills:
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs or other PLCs.
• Familiarity with RFID applications.
• Familiarity with robotics programming, such as Epson RC+ or other software.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Visual Basic or C++.
• Familiarity with communication/data systems like GLS, SQL databases, and OPC.

Pay: $21-25 per hour - Based on year of study
