Job Title Senior Test Engineer L1 Location (s) Bangalore/Cochin/Trivandrum Years of Experience 5+ years

Work with product owners, BAs and DevOps QA to understand and define the automation requirements

2. Development and maintenance of test automation framework for Frontend application and backend services

3. Act as a subject matter expert for focus areas across the test automation space

4. Automate frontend workflows using Cypress & Cucumber framework for a modern web application

5. Develop scripts for regression scope and new features

6. Maintain existing test scripts based on latest changes in product life cycle

7. Automate backend microservices workflows using ReadyAPI

8. Regular automation execution on designated environment to check the health of the application

9. Periodic automation execution in alignment to the sprint cycle and product release plan

10. Maintain the pipeline files and edit the yaml files whenever necessary

11. Create pull requests to merge latest changes & perform peer review of pull scripts

12. Provide periodic status on automation activities to stakeholders

Role & Responsibilities Automation Tester Technical Qualifications

1. Test consultant or senior test analyst with 7-10 years of proven experience in test automation

2. Experience in development of test automation frameworks for frontend with Cypress-Cucumber framework

3. Experience in test automation using JavaScript/TypeScript

4. Experience in service level test automation using Ready API with dynamic data and Groovy script

5. Knowledge in CI/CD process and experience in building and maintaining DevOps pipeline

6. Experience in using tools like Jenkins, GIT, Visual Studio Code, GitHub desktop, ReadyAPI

7. Experience on Test Management tool (HP ALM), Defect Management tool like Jira and defect life cycle

8. Good level of knowledge in software development life cycle and agile methodology

9. Knowledge of Cargo domain is added advantage

10. Excellent communication and presentation skill

11. Prior experience in customer facing role is preferred
