Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Tester with strong skills in Python and hands-on experience in the banking domain, particularly with Swift messaging and payment systems You will be responsible for designing and executing automated test suites to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Validate payment workflows, Swift message formats, and banking APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to resolution.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid experience in test automation using Python (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Strong understanding of banking/payment systems, including Swift MT/MX messages, SEPA, ISO 20022, or similar.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of security testing in financial applications.
• ISTQB or other QA certifications.

Preffered locations: Warszawa, Gdańsk/Gdynia, Łódź, 3 days from the office
