Job Description

Job Summary

This position entails the use of Software Testing, Jira, and Python to automate testing processes, ensuring the quality and efficiency of software products. The Automation Tester will be responsible for implementing automated tests, analyzing test results, and collaborating with the development team to enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute automated test scripts using python to validate software functionality
2. Utilize software testing methodologies to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure software meets quality standards
3. Work closely within team to understand testing requirements and improve overall testing processes
4. Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
5. Collaborate with developers to resolve bugs and other technical issues identified during testing

Skill Requirements

1. Understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies
2. Familiarity with jira for defect tracking and project management
3. Knowledge of python for test automation
4. Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing processes
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work in a team environment

Other Requirements

1.ISTQB certification in Software Testing is preferred
