Job Description


We are seeking a skilled API Automation Tester with expertise in the airline domain to develop and maintain automated test scripts. The role involves testing APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of airline systems, and experience with database testing.

Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):
  • Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in the airline domain.
  • Extensive experience in API testing automation using tools like Rest Assured and Postman.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience in database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for effective collaboration.
Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):
  • Knowledge of airline industry concepts such as inventory, pricing, booking, and payments.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to additional automation tools and frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to design and execute test cases, analyze results, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated capability to stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software testing.
