To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.

As a Senior Developer, you will design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
To be a successful Automation Tester, you should have experience with:
Ability to analyze business requirements and user stories, identify gaps, and design effective test scenarios and data. Solid understanding of Agile testing practices and experience delivering testing solutions in complex domains.
Strong functional understanding of UI, API, database integration, and end‑to‑end testing in systems. Experience with Kafka / Confluent Kafka messaging and Hands-on REST API testing (Insomnia/Postman).
Strong experience in test automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), with good to have exposure to API automation, BDD/TDD, Java, Maven/Gradle, Selenium.
Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Athena, CloudWatch etc.) and tools like JIRA, Git/GitLab, Jenkins, IntelliJ.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and backend testing. Participation in code reviews, contributing to improved testability and quality.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in Non‑Functional and Performance Testing, including load testing (e.g., LoadRunner). Knowledge of ETL concepts and reporting/MI tools such as Tableau.
Experience with JIRA x-ray for Project and task tracking. Strong communication skills and active contribution to team knowledge sharing.
Banking domain experience, including exposure to messaging flows, reconciliations, or event‑driven systems.
