About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 8–14 years of experience in automation testing to define and drive enterprise-wide automation strategies, frameworks, and scalable solutions across complex applications. The role focuses on aligning quality objectives with technical implementation, ensuring robust governance, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement across automation ecosystems.

What you’ll do

  • Define and evolve end-to-end test automation strategy, architecture, standards, and framework roadmap
  • Design, implement, and scale reusable and maintainable automation frameworks across multiple domains
  • Assess automation feasibility and evaluate new tools, technologies, and domain-specific solutions
  • Provide technical advisory and architectural guidance to enable scalable and efficient automation practices
  • Collaborate with Test Managers, Product Owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate quality goals into actionable automation solutions
  • Estimate rollout efforts for automation frameworks and align delivery timelines with stakeholders
  • Manage automation demand, capacity, tools, licences, risks, and dependencies
  • Identify impediments impacting automation adoption or delivery and implement mitigation strategies
  • Track, measure, and report automation coverage, progress, benefits, and risks to stakeholders
  • Ensure integration of automation within CI/CD pipelines, including test data management and reporting mechanisms

Who you are

  • The candidate has 8–14 years of experience in automation testing across complex application landscapes
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in automation strategy, framework design, architecture, and implementation
  • Possesses hands-on knowledge of automation tools, scripting, CI/CD integration, and reporting mechanisms
  • Has experience in driving automation feasibility analysis and scaling solutions across multiple domains
  • Communicates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and aligns technical delivery with business objectives
  • Brings strong planning, governance, estimation, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage tooling, budgets, licences, and automation-related risks
