
POSITION Automation Technician, Jr. – Paint Line (Night Shift)
LOCATION Skyjack Plant 1
QUALIFICATIONS:
Have a minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
Pretreatment equipment experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to multi-task and set priorities
Willingness to implement new process improvements
Computer knowledge
Must be flexible to support other shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor equipment (including documentation, recording spec. qualifications):
Wash system
Fluid delivery equipment
Wash-bay and Steamer room
Kitchen
Rework
Product Quality – Paint finish
Waste Water Treatment – Titrate chemistry
Post Department Customer Satisfaction
Scheduled Activity Equipment Maintenance
Monitor product consumption (chemicals, paints, consumables, etc.)
Preventative maintenance
Emergency minor maintenance (i.e. Gun replacements, etc.)
Engineering trials
Equipment troubleshooting
Assist in training of new painters (in booth – practical)
Must be flexible for all shifts and work overtime.
Other duties as assigned
