Job title: Automation Technician

The role:

As an Automation Technician, you will help drive our goals by:

• Supporting the operation of automation control systems tomaintainsafe,reliableand efficient production

• Troubleshooting and resolving control system and equipment issues with production and maintenance teams

• Performing maintenance and adjustments on automated electrical equipment including PLCs, HMIs,drivesand servo systems

• Updating control systems documentation and supporting program modifications to improve performance

• Working with external vendors to diagnose and resolve complex automation issues

• Training colleagues on troubleshooting techniques and safe maintenance practices

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, ComputerScienceor a related discipline

• Experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADAsystemsand industrial automation in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including drives, controlpanelsand power distribution

• Ability toanalysefaults,identifyroot causes and implement effective solutions

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley systems (ControlLogix,RSLogix5000) and industrial networks isadvantageous

Strong communicationskills and ability to collaborate across teams
