What are your contributions to the team?

  • Working within the automation team to maintain and further develop the control systems of a fully automated surface treatment facility.
  • Participating in control system modernization projects, including industrial PLCs, operator interfaces (HMI), SCADA systems, and industrial network architecture.
  • Supporting the analysis, planning, and implementation of new automation solutions as part of an Industry 4.0 transformation initiative.
  • Contributing to the documentation, testing, and validation of changes made to automated systems.
  • Assisting in technical problem analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production systems.
  • Collaborating with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to ensure the reliability and performance of automated equipment.

How to thrive in this role?

  • College diploma (D.E.C.) in Industrial Automation
  • Familiarity with industrial automation principles (PLCs, sensors, actuators, control logic)
  • Solid foundation in programming and computer science; knowledge of PLCs, databases, or networking is considered an asset
  • Strong interest in industrial technologies, IT, and automation
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with a strong willingness to learn
  • Professional attitude and commitment to quality, essential in the aerospace industry
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French; technical English is an asset
