Job Description:

As a Software Engineer you will develop software for various machinery in industries such as printing and textile. You will be working with wide range of different technology on both existing and new products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and development of control systems (PLCs) as well as related software and business applications, including user interfaces and HMIs.
  • Responsibility for complete project execution, which includes, but is not limited to: sys- tem design, programming, testing, documentation, vendor/contractor. management, hard- ware/software procurement, installation and start-up support.
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support for technicians and customers.

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, programming, and troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as networking, database systems, control theory, real- time systems and electronics.
  • Experience with multiple platforms and programming languages (e.g. C and object oriented languages).
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude and an ability to easily pick up new technologies.
  • Function well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (working language is English).
  • Enjoy the benefits and opportunities that come from working in an international organization.
  • Located within easy reach of Malmö or be willing to relocate to Malmö, Sweden.

Education

Master/Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree. Consideration may be given to others degrees and experience.
