Your challenges

Sales and customer support

  • Provide independent consultation to customers in the assigned region, advising on Automated Liquid Handling systems and workflows, including the 5073-5075 and 96 Flex instruments.

  • Support regional sales teams to achieve revenue targets by focusing on solution-based selling, addressing customer-specific needs, and integrating automation systems into their workflows.

  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, sales teams, and service technicians, ensuring effective pre- and post-sales support.

  • Perform technical product demonstrations, both virtual and in-person, at customer sites or showrooms.

  • Offer pre- and post-sales technical support, including application integration, customer education (starter to advanced levels), and user training for automation products.

Product and Application Management

  • Manage successfully product launches, including the introduction of new tools, ensuring smooth rollout through coordination with marketing, training sales teams, and customer engagement.

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to support the development of new automation products and to align optimally with market needs, customer workflows, and strategic priorities.

  • Drive application development by analyzing customer workflows and translating them into specific product enhancements or new application solutions.

Market Intelligence and Strategy

  • Win more - provide market and competitive intelligence to adapt automation product positioning and to increase win rates, particularly in high-growth sectors such as Pharma, Biotech, and CROs.

  • See more - engage potential customers and identify relevant applications and trends to support go-to-market strategies. Collaborating closely with Sales (Field and INSS), Key Account Management, and Distribution Partners.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in terms of product offering and positioning.

  • Proactively engage key customers through lead generation activities such as webinars, SciLeads, and targeted campaigns focused on solution-based selling.

Training and Development

  • Train local sales teams and channel partners to equip them with the technical knowledge and application expertise required to meet customer demand.

  • Share best practices for product usage, positioning, and integration to ensure consistency and excellence across the sales teams.

  • Collaborate with Inside Sales to maintain strong customer relationships and promote service contracts, ensuring customer loyalty and long-term engagement.

Operational Efficiency and Collaboration

  • Actively participate in local sales meetings and joint customer visits with Account Managers to drive lead generation, enhance collaboration, and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Streamline support processes by leveraging a dedicated consultant queue for faster response times and prioritizing customer needs.

  • Support strategic projects to foster customer centricity and application competence: contribute to sharing application data and promoting a customer-centric approach through enhanced collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and Application teams.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Ensure timely and accurate CRM data entries related to customer interactions, product demonstrations, and opportunity management.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales forecasts, product performance, market feedback, and customer insights.

  • Participate in strategic review meetings to assess progress on automation goals, and support sales funnel optimization.
