Your position
In this role, you’ll help get our brand-new Automated Store Pick Warehouse ready for live operations. Your main focus will be making sure all the equipment is technically ready and the site is clean and safe for customer testing and handover.
Working closely with the Project and Service Teams, you’ll help prepare equipment like robots, ASRS systems, pallet conveyors, and other tools to ensure they run smoothly and reliably. This includes clearing out any leftover debris and keeping the environment controlled during final testing.
Your work will play a key part in making sure customer testing goes well and that the site is ready for long-term success as it moves into full operation.
Responsibilities:
Always clean as you go to keep the area around machines safe and working well.
Quickly clear any system blockages and work with the team to reduce delays.
Record what caused the blockage in the system to help prevent it from happening again.
Focus on fixing issues the right way the first time and look for ways to improve.
Build good relationships with other teams and be a helpful contact for any questions.
Use live dashboards to spot and fix slowdowns before they become bigger problems.
Support the setup and testing of the system to make sure everything is ready to go live.
Follow all safety rules, report hazards, and help keep the workplace safe for everyone.
About you:
You bring a disciplined mindset and a can-do approach to every task.
You understand the importance of working safely and looking out for others.
You're open to different shift times and can adapt as needed.
You don’t wait to be asked—you step up and get things done.
You’re clear and confident when speaking or writing, making it easy to work with teammates, clients, and partners.
You’ve got experience in customer service and know how to deliver a great experience.
Experience with SCADA systems is a bonus!

Vanderlande is a market-leading, global partner for future-proof logistic process automation in the warehousing, airports and parcel sectors. Its extensive portfolio of integrated solutions – innovative systems, intelligent software and life-cycle services – results in the realisation of fast, reliable and efficient automation technology.
The company focuses on the optimisation of its customers’ business processes and competitive positions. Through close cooperation, it strives for the improvement of their operational activities and the expansion of their logistical achievements.
Established in 1949, Vanderlande has more than 11,000 employees and a turnover of 2.3 billion euros.
Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) acquired Vanderlande in 2017 to cement its global leading position within material handling. It aims to achieve this by increasing its presence in all integrated and automated projects, and capitalising on the synergies between the organisations and the added value they offer to the market.
TICO therefore launched the Toyota Automated Logistics Group (TALG), which consists of Toyota L&F, Bastian Solutions, Vanderlande and viastore. TALG is a global partner for integrated logistic process automation, with its group companies collaborating under the guiding principle: for every challenge, a reliable solution.
In May 2025, Vanderlande completed the acquisition of Siemens Logistics' operations outside the USA and in doing so welcomed more than 2,000 new employees. The acquisition supports the company’s strategic ambition to accelerate its growth in automated logistics, particularly strengthening its capacity to deliver baggage, cargo and digital airport solutions.
