Job Description

The Automation & Modernization Manager is a senior technical leadership role responsible for defining and governing the target architecture for AI, automation, integrations, and business intelligence (BI) solutions across the organization. The role leads two closely aligned teams: the Integrations, Data & BI team and the Automation team focused on the Auxis Prometheus program. In addition to platform and architecture leadership, this role provides strong oversight of AI‑oriented development practices, ensuring modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards are applied across AI, data, and automation initiatives. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Automation & Modernization Manager ensures solutions are modular, scalable, secure, and production‑ready.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership for the Integrations, Data & BI team and the Prometheus Automation team
  • Lead architectural and delivery governance for the Auxis Prometheus program, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI and modernization strategy
  • Define and own the target architecture vision across integrations, data, BI, AI, and automation platforms
  • Oversee AI‑oriented development teams, ensuring strong practices across NLP solutions, Python‑based services, prompt engineering, and related AI technologies
  • Ensure consistent application of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) across AI, automation, and data initiatives
  • Govern integration, data engineering, and BI standards (e.g., APIs, data lakes, lakehouse, analytics platforms)
  • Provide architectural oversight for data vectorization, analytics, and AI‑ready data pipelines
  • Set direction and guardrails for prompt processing, AI orchestration, and analytics consumption
  • Ensure effective integration of conversational, automation, and BI interfaces across chat, voice, and reporting channels
  • Translate business objectives into secure, cost‑effective technical and analytics solutions
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through production delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and reuse

Skills and Experience

  • English – Spanish Language (Oral and writing B2+ or above).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in technology roles spanning architecture, integrations, data, automation, analytics, or platform leadership
  • Proven experience leading software development teams, particularly in AI‑oriented domains such as NLP, Python‑based services, and prompt‑driven solutions
  • Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices applied to AI and data‑driven development
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise‑scale modernization or transformation initiatives, including programs such as Prometheus
  • Proven ability to define and govern end‑to‑end solution architectures across cloud environments
  • Experience managing and leading multiple multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and modern data architectures
  • Experience overseeing integrations, data platforms, analytics, or BI solutions, including data lakes or lakehouse‑style environments
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective technical solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering production‑ready solutions and driving organizational adoption

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience overseeing enterprise BI and analytics ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI)
    • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and API management platforms
    • Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, or compliance frameworks
    • Experience operating in hybrid or multi‑cloud environments
    • Background in managed services, shared services, or consulting environments
    • Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills
