Are you an experienced engineering professional who enjoys leading people as much as solving technical challenges?
We are looking for an Automation Engineering Lead to join our team in Opava – home to Mondelēz’s largest biscuit factory in Europe, with 16 production lines and more than 1,200 employees.
You will lead a team of engineering professionals and help them grow their capabilities across automation, digitalization and standard engineering. At the same time, you will lead projects that bring new technologies and smarter ways of working to our manufacturing environment.
Your responsibility will be to combine all the key aspects:
people care/leadership - Establish Automation/Digitalization Engineering Group, CZ Cluster. Foster strong capabilities, collaboration and standardize best practices. Develop a pool of Talent for Regional Engineering as a career path growth,
benchmarking, project management, and procedural compliance, support plant to achieve 5% Year-over-Year Productivities by enhancing efficiency through benchmarking, automation and digitalization standard engineering fields. Ensure readiness for future challenges and promote sustainable growth.

You will lead cross-functional engineering projects from idea to implementation, with a strong focus on automation, digitalization and productivity improvement.
You will also have ownership of the financial side of engineering projects.
