Job Description

Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Programming, configuration, and optimization of PLC systems for automated production equipment
  • Troubleshooting, technical support, and performance optimization of automation systems, machinery, and manufacturing processes
  • Commissioning and validation of manufacturing equipment and industrial automation solutions
  • Participation in and leadership of automation projects, including the implementation of new technologies to improve manufacturing performance
  • Cross-functional collaboration and maintenance of technical documentation to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe production operations

This is what you bring to us:

  • Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in industrial automation and manufacturing environments
  • Extensive expertise in PLC programming and industrial automation systems, preferably with Siemens controllers; additional knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Omron, or Beckhoff platforms considered an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of vision systems, motion control, motor drives, safety systems, industrial communication networks, and manufacturing control technologies
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within the automotive industry, combined with a solid understanding of industrial machinery, Lean Manufacturing, quality standards, and process optimization
  • Commitment to workplace safety, strong problem-solving capabilities, effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, and business-fluent English; German and/or French language skills considered beneficial
