Role description:

Ensures that Tech services are highly automated, reliable and scalable. Develops tools and solutions to automate manual and/or inefficient processes.

Role accountabilities:

Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that streamline operational processes, reduce manual workloads, minimize errors, and improve overall efficiency.

• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize and automate operational processes across the service catalogue using AI-first methodologies.
• Design and enhance CI/CD and automation solutions supporting application upgrades, backup and restore, solution teardown, auto-scaling, auto-healing, disaster recovery, failover, and monitoring.
• Improve system availability, performance, latency, resilience, and reliability, defining and measuring appropriate Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using technologies such as Terraform, PowerShell, and ARM.
• Prioritize Microsoft Power Platform low-code solutions for automation, complemented by custom code where required.
• Build and enhance Copilot Studio agents that leverage enterprise knowledge and invoke operational workflows, supporting AI-first, agent-based operations with human approvals and escalation paths.
• Participate in key IT Service Management processes, including Incident, Problem, Release, Configuration, and Change Management, including CAB activities where relevant.
• Provide third-level support for internally developed CI/CD and automation solutions, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product owners, service owners, technical teams, and external partners to define operational requirements, influence CI/CD architecture, manage service delivery, and ensure solutions align with strategic objectives and acceptable risk levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in IT service management and IT operational and maintenance tasks and processes with good understanding on how some of these processes can be automated.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CICD, Terraform, PowerShell, MS Power Platform, Copilot Studio agent building, Azure Functions, Automation Accounts & Runbooks.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
